Anytime Anywhere Meditation

Meditation Teachings

Anytime Anywhere Meditation (AAM) was created by the Tibetan master Mingyur Rinpoche. It is a simple, yet profound program that makes the meditation practice accessible, fresh and deeply meaningful for the modern life. It is based on the simple insight that you can meditate anytime, anywhere, under any circumstances.

In retreat, the intention becomes even more tangible. Over the course of the retreat, you will practice awareness, compassion and wisdom, in silence and in conversation, in stillness and in ordinary daily activities.

Meet the Teacher

Tsunma Kunsang Palmo

Born in England, Kunsang’s journey with mediation started in 2005. On a trip to Nepal that year, she encountered Lama Zopa Rinpoche and was so inspired by the teachings that she chose to stay in Asia and devote her life to Buddhism.

She soon travelled to North India, where she met Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, renowned for her twelve-year retreat in the Himalayas, and served as her assistant at a nunnery supporting Himalayan women’s spiritual education.

She went on to complete a three-year retreat at Sherabling Monastery under the guidance of Mingyur Rinpoche.

Ordained in 2010, Kunsang completed a traditional three-year meditation retreat at Sherabling Monastery under the guidance of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche.

She continues to receive teachings from Mingyur Rinpoche and serves as a meditation and Buddhist teacher for Tergar. She now divides her time sharing what she has learned through her years of study and practice in Kathmandu, India, the Caribbean and now Kenya.

During retreat, there will be guided meditations with periods of silence, group practice, awareness yoga, teachings by Kunsang Palmo and Q&A sessions.

“The host put together the retreat with meticulous detail and full heart. From the welcome package, to the meditation cushions, and to the stationary. The location and spaces were serene and the food nutritious and delicious. You have to throw yourself into the experience - it’s work. It's an opportunity to welcome positive change into the rest of your life.”
